One of our photostories is missing! Part II

The story so far...

The HT editorial team arrived at the office in surprise. Someone had broken in and stolen all the photos which they were planning to use for various photo stories. (Dramatic music.)

Not only that, it seems that photos have been disappearing all over the world. (More dramatic music).

They set off to investigate, but out of nowhere, someone switch off the lights, knocked out someone who was dragged off. (Yet even more dramatic music)

Who was the mysterious stranger? Why did they steal the photos? Did anyone really steal the photos or did they lose them underneath a pile of papers? Was it really a mysterious stranger or just someone hitting themself over the head and dragging themselves away? Or was the whole thing the product of someone's perverted imagination?
